İSTANBUL KÜLTÜR UNIVERSITY CONTINUES TO BREAK NEW GROUNDS IN THE FIELD OF EDUCATION IN TURKEY FOR THE EDUCATION OF NEXT-GENERATION ENTREPRENEURS BY OFFERING ENTREPRENEURSHIP EDUCATION AT UNDERGRADUATE LEVEL

The İstanbul Kültür University Department of Entrepreneurship, which accepted its first students in the 2016-2017 Academic Year, aims to raise individuals who see entrepreneurship as a career option, as well as entrepreneurs who aim to work in corporate firms but will also contribute to in-house entrepreneurship. In this process, we want to ensure that our students learn the basic methodology of the field of entrepreneurship and apply their knowledge on the process of idea generation and development, and that the academic staff of our Department and Faculty, who are specialized in the field, always support our students as mentors on this journey.  We aim to train individuals who are sensitive to the needs of our society, who are capable of defining a service gap that cannot be met by private and public sectors, and developing projects that can transform this gap into a social benefit, not only with the motive of creating a commercial benefit but also with projects that can meet a social need. 
Careers

The curriculum of the Department of Entrepreneurship includes courses that aim to teach the basic methodology such as Entrepreneurship and Applications, Business Model, Innovation and Strategic Thinking, along with courses such as economics, law, marketing and sales techniques, information and communication technologies, finance and integration of finance with trade, digital management and other basic functions of enterprises.

Notes to Future Entrepreneurs

We expect our graduates to be an important part of the entrepreneurship ecosystem, role models for next-generation entrepreneurs, and to carry out their own projects in the near future. We believe that this will be achieved with the cooperation of important representatives of the business world and our distinguished academic staff.
